Though cubicle farms are expected to be lively and productive, most are often far away from it. While some may feel like rat mazes, some others may be far from cozy, productive, collaborative workspaces and instead, may seem like unwelcome, gloomy spaces. With custom office signage, you can turn even a drab cubicle farm into a bright, perky, welcoming space. From helping create a welcoming, collaborative work space, to giving a boost to branding and bringing forth a dynamic story, the right office signage can do it all and sometimes, even more. When Citrus Sign Studio was called to transform the drab office walls of Cru with custom office signage and graphics, we knew what was needed to accomplish the job.
The Client: Cru
Campus Crusade for Christ (which is presently known as Cru in the United States) was started at UCLA in 1951 by Bill Bright and Vonette, his wife, to help college students know Jesus, strengthen their faith, and share God’s love. Cru expanded fast and was active in three countries by the end of the 1950s. In 1958, Cru became international when the work in South Korea was launched by Dr. Joon Gon Kim. Today, Cru has 5,300 ministries worldwide to help students, their families, and communities know Jesus, share God’s love, and grow in their faith. With its presence in 109 countries and 35 US cities, Cru has emerged as a robust community that’s passionate about connecting people to Christ. People from every walk of life and from all cultures get spiritual guidance, as well as tailor-made programs and resources from Cru to bring Christ into every area of their lives.
Cru needed office signage and graphics to give its cubicle farm a makeover that would resonate with its vision and mission, and tell a great story – both for its in-house employees and visitors coming to its office from all over the world.
Transforming the drab, 50 feet cubicle walls to tell a great story was a big challenge. That’s because the signage and graphics had to resonate with the vision and mission of Cru, and even highlight its efforts to reach and help people in their spiritual journey. The experts of Citrus Sign Studio brainstormed and decided upon the plan of replacing the cubicle wall panels with custom made graphics panels.
From highlighting Cru’s global marketing reach through the world map, to the role its content, social media, and digital marketing plays, we used different graphics and office signage to tell a great story. How Cru supports and encourages meaningful relationships, creates newer and significant opportunities to engage people with the gospel, and help change lives for the better, our graphics panels and signs focused on “Journey together” – an important theme in Cru’s projects and programs.
Our custom office signage and graphics panels transformed the drab, boring space by creating an engaging, dynamic story that would impress visitors at the Cru campus from various corners of the globe. The dynamic setting of the cubicle farm would also tell a great story to the in-house members, reminding them of what Cru stands for, and how they’re committed to help people build their faith in Christ and share God’s love with others to make this world a better place to live in.
