For any business, brand awareness, promotion, advertising, etc. could be different names but they all have a common mission – to make people aware of the business and entice them into buying, thus earning a return on investment (made on the promotional activities). When it comes to business planning, almost all business owners set aside a specific advertising budget in which business signage often finds a special mention. With a well-planned and attractive exterior signage, it becomes easier for a business to attract the attention of its potential customers and that too, within a short time span. The story wasn’t any different for Abbott’s Frozen Custard. When the company decided to open a new branch in Orlando, they needed creative and attractive exterior signage that would help them stand apart from the crowd. So, they came to us.

The client – Abbott’s Frozen Custard

This upstate New York frozen custard brand is known for its delicious and diverse range of sundaes, cones, pies, dishes, treats and more. For almost a hundred year, an Abbott’s Frozen Custard stand has served as the ideal destination “after” any occasion. Be it a good day or a bad one, a triumph or a loss, after a picnic or the park, visiting Abbott’s “after” makes the whole lot even better. Perhaps this is the inspiration behind the brand’s tagline – “Happily Ever After.” So, when the company decided to expand to Orlando, they needed business signage that would retain their vintage brand look but add a new, modern, creative, and attractive twist to it as well. This brought them to us and we were happy to help.

Project execution

The website of Abbott’s Frozen Custard uses the company’s name and the tagline in bold letters (written artistically, especially the words “Abbots”) against a brownish background. When designing the business signage for this brand, we decided to stick to what they have on their website but give it a spin with raised lettering and a new LED light twist. Apart from the company’s name, we also incorporated their frozen custard logo (as they have it on their website) and chose matching colors in line with their website to retain their vintage brand look. With raised and bold lettering, we ensured the exterior signage was clearly and easily visible even from a distance. To give the business signage a modern twist, we used LED lights so that the signs will highlight the awesome brand and its signature product even in the dark. While designing the signage, we aimed to help display the popular brand in its full glory in Hamlin, outside the Orlando suburbs.

Once the signage was ready, it was the turn of our adept project managers and installers to handle the task of installation. Since we own, run, and maintain a complete fleet of specialized vehicles and equipment that consists of box trucks, panel vans, pick-up trucks, manlifts, 115’ cranes, and swinging stage platforms, among others, installing the exterior signage for Abbott’s Frozen Custard was done quickly and competently to the complete satisfaction of our client.
