And when it comes to innovative branding, strategically placed vehicle graphics can do wonders. Travelers passing by don’t pay much attention to a plain vehicle but if it happens to be a vehicle with bright colors and attractive graphics, it turns everyone’s head its way. In the branding domain, what makes vehicle graphics different from radio and print ads is that they don’t interrupt the target audience’s current activities. When Citrus Sign Studio was hired by Voke to transform their newly restored VW bus through vehicle graphics and help in its branding, we knew exactly what was required to accomplish the job.
The Client: Voke App
Voke is a popular tool that lets its users connect with an innovative digital community of like-minded people. With the help of a theme namely “Adventure,” the app encourages its users to choose an adventure (a thread of short-films) that spark bigger conversations on faith, life, and culture when tied together. With their GoVoke Tour, the brand wanted to have a vintage VW van arrive at different churches and invite the church members to start their own faith adventure. The team wanted the church students to start their own journey of discovering true purpose and real hope that can be found when walking down the road of faith. To accomplish success in its endeavor, the app provider was looking to have some strategic vehicle graphics that could attract the students to become part of the family.
Probably the biggest challenge for us was to make the vehicle graphics perfectly aligned with the mission of Voke. We also wanted to make it attractive enough to the students while highlighting the names of its partners in its endeavors to reach and help young talents in their spiritual journey. Our team of experts decided to use the bright orange color, which is a light color representing fun and warmth – two of the biggest qualities of today’s youth.
We used a vibrant vehicle wrap that encompassed the lower half of the VW bus. We ensured that the names of the partners of Voke can be seen prominently on the glasses at the upper half of the van. Heavy-duty vinyl was used to create the vehicle graphics as the tour was planned to continue for three months.
To demonstrate how Voke encourages and supports meaningful conversations and creates significant opportunities to drive youths on the road of true faith, we emphasized on mentioning “BE ADVENTURE” – the key theme words of the company.
Our custom vehicle graphics transformed the entire look of the vintage VW van by crafting a youthful, dynamic, and engaging appearance which would encourage the church students to start fresh, adventurous journeys of discovering true faith in human life. The vibrant appearance of the van backed by innovative branding done by Citrus Sign Studio would also keep the Voke ambassadors reminding the true purpose of the app – discovering the value of walking the road of life with Jesus.
